Irvin "Pete" Dunton Jr. passed away on Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at the age of 74. He was born July 2, 1936 in Wanette, Oklahoma to his parents, Artie and Irvin Dunton, Sr. After 20 years of service he retired from the United States Air Force and started a new career at General Motors in OKC, where he retired from in 1998. Pete was an active member of the National Street Rod Association and enjoyed restoring old vehicles, swap meets, flea markets, garage sales and fishing.


He was preceded in death by his:
Parents;
Brother, Jerry and wife Sheila.

Pete leaves behind his
Loving wife of 51 years, Carol Ann Dunton;
Son, Duane Dunton and wife Nancy;
Daughter, Sharon Patterson and husband David;
Son, Michael Dunton;
Daughter, Jennifer Dunton;
3 grandchildren: Chris, Jason and wife Maria, Amiee and husband Trevor;
4 great grandchildren, Ethan, Emily, Christian and Max;
several nieces and nephews;
numerous friends and Skeeter.
