Ivan Childers of Oklahoma City passed away on July 11, 2015, at the age of 95. She was born on March 22, 1920, in Noble, Oklahoma, to William Lee and Mary Ann (Glover) Teague. She attended Rocky Point rural school and was a graduate of Noble High School. On June 2, 1945, she married M.H. Childers in Shawnee. She was a pastor's wife and homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 55 years, M.H. Childers; one son, Harold Kenneth Childers; two brothers, Robert Teague and Luther Teague; six sisters, Josephine Ketner, Ruby Teague, Willie Mae Argo, twin sister Ivette King, Florene Hodam, and Lorene King. Mrs. Childers is survived by her son Steven of Oklahoma City, daughter Gwendolyn Dominic and her husband Danny of San Antonio, TX; grandson Robert Dominic and his wife Nicole of San Antonio; granddaughter Kelli Dominic of San Antonio; and great-grandchildren Jordyn, Kolton, and Cooper of San Antonio. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Oklahoma Baptist Home for Children, 3800 N. May, OKC, OK 73112. A graveside service will be at 10:30 AM, Thursday, July 16, 2015 at IOOF Cemetery, Norman, OK.
