Jack Omer Norris, 83 of OKC passed away in Grove, Oklahoma on August 29, 2021 surrounded by his family. He was born on January 20, 1938 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Dennis and Eunice (Smith) Norris. Jack was a longtime member of St. Luke's Asbury Methodist Church. He married the love of his life, the late, Virginia Ruth Barber in July of 1954. They were married for over 48 years. Jack worked as an accountant for many years and worked in the oil field as an accountant for some time as well. He enjoyed listening to music from artists Lenny Welch and Ray Charles to Neil Diamond and Willie Nelson. Jack loved spending time with his family. He was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather and uncle who will be missed each and every day. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Virginia Ruth Norris; son, Mark Norris; and brothers, Patrick and Michael Norris. Jack leaves behind his loving son, Dennis Norris; daughter in law, Connie Norris; 4 grandchildren, Dara Loughridge and husband, Marcus, Courtney Smith and husband, Kelan, Morgan Palmer, and Mallory Decker and husband, Jed; 8 great grandchildren; 3 nieces; extended family members and friends.
