Jack William Spurgin, of Oklahoma City, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, October 2, 2020 at the age of 77. Jack was a member of Southern Hills Baptist Church. He graduated from Tulsa Edison High School in 1961. He played baseball for 5 years for the New York Yankees Organization. He graduated from Oklahoma City University in 1967. Jack worked as a stockbroker for 7 years. He retired as an Allstate Insurance Agent, a career that spanned 26 years. Jack thoroughly enjoyed his retirement traveling with his wife Karen, snow skiing with his grandchildren & playing lots of golf. He was a loving husband, devoted father, doting grandfather and loyal friend who will be deeply missed. He was preceded in death by his: Mother, Juanita Hill Spurgin; Father George A. Spurgin. He is survived by his: Wife of 34 years, Karen Lee Spurgin; Son, Michael G. Spurgin of Tampa, Florida; Daughter, Cheryl Williams and her husband Tim of Tuttle, Oklahoma; Daughter, Tammy Reifschneider and her husband, Dan of Colorado Springs, Colorado; Seven Grandchildren: Ryan Lakey and his wife Karen, Trenton Williams and his wife Ericka, Carson Williams and his wife Jennifer, Tyler, Tori, and Taron Reifschneider and Katy Spurgin; Five Great Grandchildren.
