Jacqueline May Groves passed away on Friday, May 28, 2021, at the age of 75. Jackie was born on July 7, 1945, in Oklahoma City to her parents Ralph and Lorine (Baker) Williams. Jackie married her high school sweetheart, Troy Ray Groves in November of 1962; they were married for nearly 56 years. After moving briefly to Biloxi, Mississippi to be with Troy while he completed his basic training for the military, she returned to Oklahoma and graduated from Capitol Hill High School in 1964. Jackie worked many different jobs over the years but spent the majority of her career as Director of the Volunteer League at St. Anthony's Hospital. After leaving St. Anthony's, she spent 5 years at State Farm before retiring to help take care of her granddaughters. Jackie loved to take road trips with her husband, bake cookies and cakes with her granddaughters, and she could always be found in her yard tending to her garden. She was happiest when her home was filled with the voices and laughter of her family. Jackie was preceded in death by her husband Troy Ray Groves as well as both parents, Ralph Williams and Lorine (Baker) Williams. Troy and Jackie were blessed with two sons, Tim and Tracy, as well as two daughters-in-law, Kerri and Tonya, who were like daughters to her. They were also blessed with four beautiful granddaughters, Haley, Taylor, Tori, and Samantha, who lovingly called her both Kackie and Nana. Her family and all who knew her will miss her deeply.
