Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday Dec. 21 at the Vondel Smith & Son Mortuary, 13125 N MacArthur Blvd, in Oklahoma City.
Jacquita Rae Gorelick, 75, passed away on the morning of Tue. Dec. 18 after a 12 year battle with COPD. Known as Jackie to her friends and Quita to her family, she spent most of her life helping others through troubling times as a family lawyer.
Jackie was born on Feb. 14, 1943, to James and Geraldine Benson, in Maud Oklahoma. She married Sidney Gorelick on May 30, 1968 and received her Juris Doctorate in 1982. She is survived by 2 children, Melanie and Noel, 3 step-children, Robert, Stefani and Mark, as well as 1 grand-daughter, Sydney.
