Jaime se crió en Oklahoma City con sus hermanos Misael, Wilfredo y José Luis, y su hermana Claudia. De niño, siempre soñó con ser camionero como su padre.
Estuvo casado con Lilia Rivas durante 15 años y estuvieron juntos durante 17 años. Tuvieron cuatro hermosos hijos: Yamilette, Elianna, Jaime Jr. y Olivia Rivas. Jaime comenzó su carrera como camionero en 2017 y en 2021 abrió su propio negocio, JOYE Trucking LLC, donde transportaba productos agrícolas y ganado por todo Estados Unidos. JOYE es un acrónimo que representa los nombres de cada uno de sus hijos.
Jaime fue una luz en la vida de todos quienes tuvieron el privilegio de conocerlo. Su paso por esta tierra estuvo marcado por su amor, compasión y devoción a su familia. Jaime Rivas, born on January 29, 1989, in Rexburg, Idaho, was sent to his eternal home on May 7, 2025, in Dodge City, Kansas. He was the beloved son of Olivia Salazar and Wilfredo Rivas.
Jaime was raised in Oklahoma City with his brothers, Misael, Wilfredo, & Jose Luis & sister Claudia. As a young boy, he always had dreams of becoming a truck driver like his father.
He was married to Lilia Rivas for 15 years and they were together for 17 years. They had four beautiful children: Yamilette, Elianna, Jaime Jr., & Olivia Rivas. Jaime started his trucking career in 2017 and in 2021, he started his own business, JOYE Trucking LLC, where he hauled produce and cattle throughout the United States. JOYE is an acronym that stood for each of his children's names.
Jaime was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. His journey on this earth was one marked by his love, compassion, and devotion to his family. His passing has left a void in the hearts of his family, friends, and the lives he touched. We ask that you remember him not for how his life ended, but for how he lived, and for the profound impact he had on the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Jaime will always be known as the life of the party, and being able to make anyone anywhere laugh and smile.
