James Robert Adams was born on July 13, 1943 in Clarksville, Arkansas to Robert Julius and Mary Lou (Garner) Adams. He passed away on Tuesday, April 20, 2021. Jim married the love of his life, Cathy M. Conkling on September 12, 1969 and together shared 51 years of marriage. Jim retired as an OKC Firefighter on August 19, 1986 after 21 years of service. Jim honorably served in the US Army. He was an avid fisherman, loved a good square dance and spending time with his grandchildren. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his: Parents; Robert Julius and Mary Lou Adams. He is survived by his: Wife of the home, Cathy Adams; Son, Randy Adams and wife Laura and their children, Summer, Kaylee & Ashley Adams; Son, Michael Adams and husband Gary Shelton; Son, Tony Adams and wife Jessica and their children, Brianne & Lauren Adams; Brother, Larry Adams; Numerous other loving family members and friends.
