James Anthony "Tony" Borthick was born February 14, 1947 in Holdenville, Oklahoma the son of James Elvin and Margaret Elizabeth (LaBrue) Borthick. He completed this life on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at the age of 75.

Tony served his country in the United States Air Force having been honorably discharged.

Tony worked in public relations in politics and in the private sector. He worked for a number of years as executive director of the Oklahoma Democratic Party. Tony then became executive director of the Oklahoma Trial Lawyers Association until his retirement.

Tony married Constance "Connie" Ellen Stewart on April 22, 1989. They spent almost 33 wonderful years together. He was preceded in death by his parents.
