Pete, 78, passed away Jan 27, 2018. He was born Aug 9, 1939 in Lamesa, TX to Gaines & Bessie (McConnell) Smith. A graduate of Capitol Hill High School, James retired from Safeway Bread Plant. Pete enjoyed motorcycles & most of all being with his family. Preceded in death by his parents; wife of 50 years, Iris Smith; and brother-in-law, Tim Gardner. He leaves behind his loving twin daughters: Kelli Arnold & husband, Ron of Newcastle, OK and Kathy Stewart & husband, Billy of OKC; Grandsons: Justin Arnold & wife, Elizabeth, BJ Stewart & fiancé, Tess Rogers; and Bryan Stewart; Great Grandson. Preston Arnold; great granddaughter, Paige Arnold; 2 sisters: Margie Mechan & husband, Jack and Patsy Gardner.
