James "Jimmy" Owen Simpson was born July 11, 1961 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma the son of Daniel Owen Simpson and Barbara Ann "Boots" (Craig) Simpson. He completed this life on Monday, July 11, 2022 in Oklahoma City at the age of 61.

Jimmy worked in sales for Kellog's grocery products retiring after 30 years. He also worked in sales in the BG automotive industry.

Jimmy married Margaret Ann (Myers) Saunders on December 17, 2011.

Jimmy is survived by his wife, Margaret Saunders Simpson; His daughters, Jennifer Brook Bessinger and Jordan Breanne Simpson; His bonus-daughters, Cassidy Anne Durant and Holly Grace Thompson; His bonus-sons, Colton Asa Saunders and Garrett Matthew Saunders; His sisters, Karen Pollet; Suzie Crawford; His grandchildren, Nellie Rose Bessinger and Chandler Jackson Durant.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service will be held, at 2:00 PM Monday, July 18, 2022 at Putnam City Baptist Church, 11401 N. Rockwell Ave.
