James S. Simpson passed away on Saturday, December 12, 2015 in Norman, Oklahoma at the age of 88. He was born December 2, 1927 in Independence, New Mexico to his parents, Andrew Jackson and Vera (Gibson) Simpson. He honorably served his country in the United States Air Force before owning and operating a variety store for many years. After his retirement he owned, raised and raced horses for many years. He will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.

James was preceded in death by his:

Parents;

Sons-in-law, Robert Carter and Marvin Coe;

Great Grandchild, Gabrielle Gregston;

Brothers: A.J. Simpson, J.P. Simpson and Jackie Simpson;

Sister, Christine Simpson Prohorff;

Daughter, Jo Allen.

James is survived by his:

Daughters: Sue Anne Carter and Marie Coe;

Brothers: Bruce Simpson and Grady Simpson;

Five Grandchildren: Stephanie Dabbs and husband, Lynn, Jeramy Gregston and wife, Shae, Michelle Gamblin, Nathan Gregston and wife, Jennifer and Tashia Rodriguez and husband, Alex;

Eleven Great Grandchildren:

Three Great-Great Grandchildren;

Many other loving family and friends.
