Jamie, 59, went to be with her Heavenly Father on, Sept. 17, 2013. She was the daughter of Wanda & Noah John Spiva, Jr. born July 5, 1954 in Independence, MO. Jamie graduated from Midwest City High School in 1972. On Sept 12, 1980, Jamie married the love of her life, Curtis Wayne Storie and this union of marriage was blessed with twin boys, Bryan and Brandon. Jamie had a heart for serving the Lord, her family and others. She accepted the Lord's calling on her life for ministries and earned her BA Degree of Specialized Ministries from Mid-America University and later received her Masters of Marriage and Family Counseling from Southern Nazarene University. Jamie served as an associate minister at Fresh Start Community Church for 13 years and loved her church family dearly. She enjoyed many activities through her life, including reading and traveling, but her most special moments were those spent with her family & friends, especially her 4 grandkids. Jamie positively influenced many lives throughout her ministry and has left a legacy to carry on. Although she will be deeply missed each day, we rejoice in knowing she is with our heavenly father and we will be reunited one day again soon. 2 Corinthians 5:8 "We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord." Proceeded in death by: her parents and brother, Noah John Spiva, III. She leaves behind: her loving husband of 33 years, Curtis Storie; son, Bryan Storie and wife, Amanda; son, Brandon Storie; 4 grandchildren: Tyson, Jayzmin, Piper and Desi; brother, Jeff Spiva; sisters: Jan Groves & husband, John Judy Perry & husband, John; mother and father-in- law, Don and Dorotha Storie; and countless other loving family & friends.
