Janice Dee Farris, 80, of Oklahoma City passed away on April 19, 2023 at home surrounded by her family. She was born at home on October 3, 1942 to Daniel and Denola Casey in Wetumka, Oklahoma. She married the love of her life, Thomas Seabron Farris, Sr. on March 12,1966 and they were married for 23 years before his passing in 1989. Janice worked for Roberson's Steel and Firestone Lab Corp before retiring as a medical warehouse supervisor. She loved gardening and working in the yard. Janice was an avid reader and liked to watch C.S.I. series and was a big fan of Elvis Presley whom she seen in person. She loved her dear friend Bird that was given to her by her son Tommy which was a rescue parrot.

Viewing will be 4-8 PM Friday at Vondel L. Smith & Son Mortuary. A graveside service will be held at 2:00PM, Saturday April 22, 2023 at Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Wheatland, Oklahoma.
