IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Janice Faye
Kipf
August 25, 1935 – October 24, 2025
Janice "Jan" Faye Kipf (nee Davis) was born August 25, 1935 in Sioux City, Iowa. She married her high school sweetheart, Rich Kipf and they enjoyed 60 years together, building an amazing legacy of family, including 5 children, 13 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and 6 great- great-grandchildren.
Jan acquired her Dietary Manager degree, was a prolific quilter and seamstress, legendary baker and cook. Her legacy will include the numerous hand-made quilts she generously distributed to her children and grandchildren over the years as well as the hand-written recipe books she gifted to her family, handing down generations of Norwegian, Swedish and Iowa farm recipes; as well as her own created collection of Kipf family standards.
She was a member of the Central Oklahoma Quilters Guild as well as multiple local quilt groups. Over the years she donated hundreds of handmade baby quilts and other items to the Infant Crisis Center. An amazing 90-year old that never looked or physically acted like a nonagenarian, she loved spending time in her backyard feeding her beloved squirrels and birds.
She is survived by her son Bill Kipf (Lia) of Louisiana, son Doug Kipf (Sharon) of Oklahoma City and daughter Linda Kipf of Oklahoma City.
She was preceded in death by her husband Rich; her daughter Connie; her son Brian "Pat"; her parents Wesley and Ethel Davis; and sisters Marsha and Cindy.
