IN LOVING MEMORY OF

February 27, 1946 – January 15, 2026
Jannie Earlene Stockton passed away on Thursday January 15, 2026 in Oklahoma City at the age of 79.
Jannie was born on February 27, 1946 in El Reno, Oklahoma to Virgil and Janie Inez Adams. Jannie was one of 5 children. Jannie graduated from El Reno High School in 1964.
Jannie met her soul mate, Ronnie Stockton in 1984. They married on October 2, 1986 in Oklahoma City. Their union created a new blended family consisting of four daughters. Jannie was a loving mother and devoted wife. She cared deeply for her husband and children and always made sure they knew just how much she adored them.
Jannie and her husband were "Foodies" and always enjoyed trying out a new restaurant. They also enjoyed shopping for antiques and finding something unique together. Jannie was an avid reader and loved suspense and thrillers. Her favorites were John Grisham and James Patterson novels. One of her hobbies was sewing; she sewed her daughter, Lisa's, wedding dress, and continued that passion with sewing ballet costumes for her grandbabies. If she wasn't found behind her sewing machine, you could find her at school events, extracurricular activities, or wherever her grandbabies' hobbies took them.
She loved to fill her time with family. Jannie loved taking care of her children, later grandchildren, and most recently great-grandchildren.
Jannie will always be remembered for her love of her family and her generous spirit, giving all that she could to those she loved. She lives on through her family, whose lives have been forever altered from her love.
