IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jason Michael
Bronson
March 6, 1978 – December 20, 2021
Jason was born in Oklahoma City, OK on March 6, 1978 and passed suddenly from this life in Kansas City, KS on Dec. 20, 2021. Jason was raised in south Oklahoma City, graduating in 1996 from Westmoore High School where he excelled in athletics. He continued his education at the University of Oklahoma where he played football on full scholarship for 3 years as an outstanding offensive guard, and later an undergraduate coaching assistant for the 2000 National Championship team. Unfortunately his football career was abruptly ended due to the multiple concussions he endured during his beloved tenure at OU, and was forced to retire his senior year due to a medical hardship. However, he always took every opportunity to share his knowledge & talents by coaching little league through collegiate level sports and positively impacted all aspects of the each life his amazing spirit blessed.
Jason went on to graduate in 2001 with a B. A. in Sociology and has had a long & overwhelmingly successful career as a Pharmaceutical Sales Consultant. A perennial national sales leader for AMGEN Corporation, his many sales awards recently included his second award recognition for the "The Chairman's Circle" and "Team Excellence." Jason was an active member of the University of Oklahoma's "O Club" Alumni, and since his presumptive brain injury diagnosis of CTE (chronic traumatic encephalopathy) has participated in the ongoing decades long medical concussion study programs of the NCAA & the NFL. Through a generous tissue donation by the Bronson family of Jason's brain to the Tulane University CTE Study, he would undoubtedly feel as if his life's work has truly been fulfilled if now he may help save the lives of others suffering from this debilitating disease in the future.
Jason was a member of Henderson Hills Baptist Church for seventeen years & along with his wife Candice, have served as volunteers in many capacities too numerous to mention. You could always count on him to be found greeting and welcoming those attending services with his infectious smile and magnetic personality. In recent months, their family began worshiping at Crossings Community Church.
A loving & endearing husband, father, friend and mentor to untold hundreds of lives, his passion and loyalty to everyone he touched will be missed beyond words. He was preceded in death by his mother Teresa Vitali. He is survived by his loving wife of 19 years Candice, his two beautiful children, son Canon & daughter Channing; his father Dan Bronson & his wife Donna; sisters Danna Bronson & Brooke Basler; mother in law Carol Howard & brother in law Dr. Lance Howard & his wife Kari.
