Services 1 PM Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at Vondel Smith & Son South Colonial Chapel. Visitation begins on Sunday at Noon until 8 PM, with the family receiving friends from 3-5 PM at the funeral home.

SMITH, SR., Jerry Craigin, 74, departed this earthly life on April 7, 2010. He was born Jan. 19, 1936 in OKC to Craigin & Frances Smith. After attending Ponca Military Academy and then graduating from Central H.S., Jerry studied for one year at OU before going in several different aspects of business including retail clothing, automotive and insulation sales. Jerry also worked in the restaurant & bar industry having worked at "The Bricks" in OKC & Sulphur. On July 23, 1977, Jerry married Wanda Marie (Braun) Grubbs and together the shared more than 32 years of marriage and raising their children. A hardworking family man, Jerry also enjoyed watching OU Football and playing with his dog "Egore" in his spare time, but Jerry's most precious moments where those spent with his family. Preceded in death by his parents and step-son, Charles Grubbs. He is survived by his wife, Wanda Smith of the home; sons: Jerry C. Smith, Jr. & wife, Rebekah and Bobby Smith; 8 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.
