TISDALE, Jewell Ione, 85, of OKC, passed away Oct. 1, 2009. She was born Oct. 7, 1923 in Edmond, OK to Rev. Horace Delbert and Maude Victoria (Chrysong) Osborne. Jewell had been the church pianist since she was sixteen years old. She loved serving the Lord through music as well as teaching Sunday School for over 35 years. She enjoyed quilting, sewing and crocheting and was an excellent cook. Her family was spoiled with her delicious treats such as her lemon meringue pie, her wonderful apple jelly and the world's best coconut cream pie! Jewell was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She will be greatly missed all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents and nine siblings. Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Raymond Tisdale; daughters, Victoria Kosmopolis of IN, Sandy and Larry Stacy of OKC, Tammy and Jim Isenhour of Bixby, and Janet and Leo Cardinal of Wayne, OK; 11 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren. Viewing will be today from Noon-8 PM at the funeral home. Services to celebrate Jewell's life will be 10:00 AM Monday at Vondel Smith South Colonial Chapel.
