Jimmie Dan Cross who was a wonderful, intelligent man passed away on Friday, January 19, 2024. Jim was born August 3, 1941 in Poteau, OK the son of Earl and Nona Cross.

Jim went to Thomas Edison elementary and graduated from Northeast High School. He graduated from OSU with a Master's Degree in Architecture. He was an avid pilot and artist.

Jim married Joyce Hick and they had two children, Collin Wade and Jill Elizabeth. He later married Laura Lea McIntosh inheriting a step-son, Sean.

Jim was affiliated with Locke, Wright and Foster Architecture firm. He taught at the OSU campus and was division head of engineering technology. He joined Kenyon Morgan in partnership with Oakdale Subdivision. He was a member of Church of the Servant where he attended the T.L.C. Sunday School class. He was a member of the Young Men's Club and Regency Dance club, several bridge groups and the Living Room Group.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Laura Lea; his brother, Dave; and his granddaughter, Katherine Mae.

Jim is survived by his wife, Roberta Carrier; his son, Collin Cross (Diana); his daughter, Jill Monheim (Tom); his grandkids, Ryan, Jake and Kate Monheim, Nathaniel Cross; his step-son, Sean McIntosh (Leann); grandkids, Kolby & Thatcher McIntosh; his brother, Robert Mark (Judy); sister-in-law, Joanne Cross and Dana Swan; his step-son, Tony Carrier (Lynn); his step-daughters, Lana Little (Alan), Tina Brewer (Wright); his step-grandkids, Miles Terry (Mackenzie), Ali Langston, Taylor & Morgan Brewer, Quade Brewer, Kelsey & Matt Little; his great grandkids, Makena, Madison, Ruby Grace, Gracelynn & Nova Cross, Steely & Stetson McIntosh. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews that he was very close to.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, January 27, 2024 in the Vondel Smith Mortuary North Chapel, 13125 N. MacArthur Blvd. Private interment will be in Chapel Hill Cemetery.
