Jimmie Humphries, age 91, of Oklahoma City, passed away on March 7, 2022. She was born May 1, 1930, in Indianapolis, Oklahoma, to Mildred and Archie Lewis. She was a bookkeeper until her retirement. Jimmie loved all things about life. She was an active member in her church until her later years. Music brought her joy and she loved to sing and play the piano. Most of all, Jimmie loved her family. Her greatest joy was spending time with her loved ones.

Survivors include her son, Michael Prather and wife, Janet; grandsons, Steven Prather and wife, Amy and Brian Prather and wife, Kayla; great-granddaughters, Nadalie Prather and Payden Prather.

In addition to her parents, Jimmie was preceded in death by her husband, John Humphries and brother, Archie Lewis.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, March 14, 2022 at Vondel L. Smith Mortuary South Colonial Chapel. Burial will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Pauls Valley.
