Jo Zella Shaw went home to her Heavenly Father on December 13, 2024 in the comfort of her home in Oklahoma City at the amazing age of 97. Born to Berry McGowan and Minnie McGowan on March 19th, 1927 in Joshua,Texas. Growing up in Burleson and Cleburne Texas along with four older brothers and sister. She married her sweetheart Henry T. Shaw, Jr in Cleburne Texas on April 4, 1946. She and Henry moved to Oklahoma City in 1948 to start their lives together and begin a family. In 1952 they welcomed their daughter Brenda D. Grizzle and soon after in 1954 their son Keith D. Shaw. Her son in law Steve Grizzle and daughter in law Donna Shaw, whom she also considered her children. Followed by grandchildren Matt Grizzle and wife Sandy Grizzle, Amanda Centomo and husband Sebastien Centomo, Carlye Shaw and two great grandchildren Chloe Grizzle and Jaxson Centomo. With her strong Christian belief she helped raise and entertain them, teaching them with her patient, kind, and loving ways. She will truly be missed and loved forever by all who knew her.
