Joanne Ballou T., 76, loving wife, mother, and grandmother, went home to be with the Lord on Aug. 31, 2009. She was born Oct. 14, 1932 in New Underwood, SD to Lewis & Olive Humphrey and united in marriage of 56 years to William "Don" Ballou. Joanne is survived by her husband, Don Ballou; son, Paul Ballou; daughter, Denise Jordan & husband, Jay; grandchildren: Jonathan Jordan & wife, Lauren, Joshua Jordan, Whitney Ballou, Jon Ballou, Monica Stegall-Pella, and Tim Pella; one great grandchild, Torin Pella; one sister, Helen Quasney; brother, Stanley Humphrey & wife, Joanne; and many nieces & nephews. A special thank you to Dr. Louie Wall, Dr. Theresa Shavney, Dr. Danny Smith, Dr. Brian Geister, and Lanna Bray, Hospice of Okla. Co. for your loving care and compassion. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Thurs. Sept. 3, 2009 at St. Andrew's Catholic Church, 800 NW 5th St in Moore. In lieu of flowers, donate to the St. Vincent de Paul Society, 3031 NW 23rd St. OKC, OK 73107. There will be no viewing or visitation at the funeral home.
