Joel D. Chumley, 28, of Oklahoma City, went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, March 11, 2020 as a result of medical complications. He was born April 9, 1991 in Oklahoma City. He attended Mustang High School (2010 graduate), Oklahoma City Community College and Canadian Valley Vo-tech. Joel had a gift for helping others and held the position of CNA for a number of years before recently joining the team at Dale Rogers Training Center in NW OKC. Joel enjoyed working with his clients and always had fun stories to tell at the end of the day. Joel is survived by his parents Larry (Sonny) and Donna Chumley of Oklahoma City. Elizabeth Chumley, his partner and wife of 7 years. His Poppy, Joe Craig of OKC, His Papa Chumley and Grandma Kay Chumley of Tulsa, His Aunt "D" Debbie and Uncle Tommy Taylor of OKC, Aunt Stacy Walker of Tulsa , Uncle Brad Wells of Tulsa and Aunt Cheryl Kirkpatrick of Ardmore, as well as several cousins and 2nd cousins. Joel was preceded in death by his Granny, Mary Craig of OKC, and Meme, Louise Sneed of Ardmore.
