Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate and honor his life will be held 10:30 AM Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery Chapel, 7800 NW Expressway Ave, with full military honors & burial following at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery.
John Donald Brown

John Donald Brown, United States Air Force Veteran, went to be with this passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at the age of 89. John was born on July 24, 1933 in Olpe, Kansas to his parents, John and Mary (Weiman) Brown. John joined the United State Air Force and honorably served his country for more 40 years. John initially served as a F86 Fighter Mechanic at Perrin Field in Sherman, Texas where he met the love of his life, Joy Don Sims. John and Joy were married on June 8, 1957 in Sherman, Texas. John transferred to the Oklahoma Air National Guard to serve the remainder of his 40 year active duty military career. He proudly served as a C130 Crew Chief on 78-0807. After his retirement, his plane was transferred to AMARG where it remains in reserve status and is considered "America's Pride." John will be deeply missed each day.
He was preceded in death by his:
Parents;
Son, Mark Brown;
Daughter, Marcia Brown;
Brother, Chuck Brown.
John leaves behind his loving family:
Wife of 65 years, Joy Don Brown of the home;
Son, Jeffrey Brown and his wife, Kenya;
Son, Jason Brown;
Granddaughters: McKinzee Hoss and Carsyn Brown;
One Great Grandson, Britt Hoss;
Many other extended family & friends.
