John Reagan Haynes began his eternal life on September 26, 2025 at the age of 73. John was born June 26, 1952 in Center, Texas to Willie Wade and Isabelle "Pat" Webb Haynes. John met Jane Ann Robertson on a blind date in Houston, Texas on June 22, 1986. They were married on April 15, 1989 – "Tax Day" – really? The only other choice was April 1, and John was not going to be married on "April Fool's Day"! John and Jane lived in Houston, Texas until 2014 when they moved to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

John worked for Brown & Root in Houston, Texas for 30 years and then fulfilled a life-long dream when he went to work for Dunbar Armored for 10 years. Ever since watching an episode of the Andy Griffith Show about an armored car, John had dreamed about working on one and was able to mark that off his bucket list.

John was an avid drummer with a continuous beat and song running through him which was obvious by the continuous drumming of his fingers. One of the joys of John's life was traveling and playing his drums in praise and worship band for Paul Vick Ministries. John also enjoyed fishing, tinkering around the garage, and watching over and helping his neighbors in Stanford Court. There was never anything he couldn't fix and he was a perfectionist.

John had 4 siblings: Jerry, Glenda, Sue and Fay.

John is survived by his wife of 36 years, Jane and his beloved cat Katy.

John was reunited in heaven with a great celebration with his parents, Willie Wade and "Pat" Haynes, his brother, Jerry, and many other loved ones, friends and family.
