John Dean Krug, age 81, of Oklahoma City, passed away on August 17, 2025.

John was born on August 23, 1943, in Owendale, Michigan, to Hattie Mosher and John Henry Krug. He graduated from high school in 1961 and soon after enlisted in the United States Air Force, beginning his service on February 8, 1962, as a Basic Airman. While stationed at Tinker Air Force Base, John completed several overseas assignments, including service in Vietnam.

Following his honorable service, John began a long career with Bell Telephone, now AT&T, where he worked as a Communications Technician for more than forty years before retiring in 2010.

John had a passion for traveling and visited destinations across North America, South America, Europe, Southeast Asia, and Australia. He also enjoyed time spent with friends and was an avid sports fan.

He is survived by his half-brother, Herb Wilson of Detroit, Michigan; his son, Christopher Krug, and wife, Kirstin; and his granddaughter, Gabrielle Krug, all of Oklahoma City.

John will be remembered for his dedication, adventurous spirit, and the love he shared with family and friends.
