John Miller passed away on March 11, 2021, at Veterans Health Facility in Oklahoma City. John was born on November 10, 1967, and spent most of his childhood on the Miller family farm north of Guthrie, graduating from Crescent High School in 1987. After graduation, John enlisted in the U.S. Army and served overseas, first in Germany and later in Kuwait during the Gulf War. After his return, John married Jennifer Jordan in 1993 and became the proud and loving father of two daughters, Jordan (1996) and Jesika (2000). John was an active member of Church of the Servant in Oklahoma City for almost two decades, assisting with television ministries and serving on the board of the Emmaus ministry group. John was an inspiration to everyone who knew him, performing acts of kindness and volunteerism in his community from a very early age.
John is survived by Jennifer and his daughters; his parents, Darrel and Suzanne Miller; his sisters, Darla Whitley and Charlotte Barker; and multiple nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. A memorial service will be held at Church of the Servant on March 15th at 10:00 am in the Celebration Center.
