John "Pete" Wolf, 87, son of Joseph & Clara Wolf, passed away May 26, 2024. Pete worked for Lee Way Motor Freight for 36 years until they closed their doors. He returned to his roots of farming wheat and in his words "Mak-N-Hay" and raising cattle. He enjoyed his customers and his helpers: son, Bob; son, Ray; daughter, Shirley; grandson, Travis; his buddy, Ronnie Baker; brother, David and brother, Steve. They were all there when he needed them the most.

He was preceded in death by his:

parents;

son, James Michael Wolf;

brothers, Daniel Robert and Joseph Benjamin;

son-in-law, Ronnie Lail.

He is survived by his:

best friend and wife of 66 plus years, Louella May Marcotte Wolf;

son, Robert Charles Wolf and his wife, Toni

daughter, Janet Marie (Wolf) Lail

daughter, Shirley Ann (Wolf) Rukkila and her husband, Bob

son, Raymond Joseph Wolf and his wife, Kimberlee

grandkids: Jeff & wife Brookelyn; Rusty & wife, Stephenie; Travis Lail; Austin Wolf; Joe Wolf and wife, Steph; Colt and wife Crystal;

great grandkids: Dallas Wells, Grey Wolf and Wilder Wolf;

sister, Margie (Maggie) Ellen and her husband, Alan;

brother, David Wolf and his wife LouAnn;

brother, Steve Wolf and his wife, Janice;

brother, James Wolf and his wife, Debbie;

sister, Martha & husband Dave;
