Burial: 10:00 AM Saturday Nov. 6 Osborne Cemetery (Osborne, KS)
John W. Brown, 82, of Newcastle, Oklahoma, passed away November 2, 2010. John was born October 12, 1928 in Harlan, Kansas to Jacob and Lena (Houser) Brown. He was a sheet metal worker for Beech Aircraft until he retired in 1990. John traveled as a volunteer for the Maps Organization for 14 years.
He was preceded in death by:
• His parents, Jacob and Lena Brown;
• 8 brothers and one sister.
Survivors include:
• His wife, Deloris Brown;
• Daughters, Myra and husband Rupert Harrell of Springtown, Texas, and Cathy and husband Kenneth Howeth of Newcastle, Oklahoma;
• Brothers, Leonard H. Brown and Kenneth Brown, both of Osborne, Kansas;
• As well as 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
