John, 68, on Dec 21, 2013 walked on to a better life. The son of Daniel David and Helen Downs (Dilly) Wright, John was born October 25, 1945 in Columbus, Ohio. He spent his youth in Arlington, VA and after graduating from Wakefield High School, John honorably served his country in the United States Army. Upon returning from his service in Vietnam, he met Vicki in Washington, D.C. and both later made Oklahoma their new home together. He provided a warm and loving home for his family. John proudly owned and operated JVJ Distributing Company for more than 25 years before his "retirement." Never one to sit around and do nothing, he later worked as part of the Flow Team at Target; he loved the work and enjoyed his time there. He was a loving husband, devoted father, and loyal friend who will be deeply missed. Preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers. He leaves behind his loving wife, Vicki Louise (Webster) Wright of the home; son, John Richard Wright Jr. and daughter in law Mary; brother, Robert Wright; sister, Barbara Delaney and brother in law Roger; as well as many other loving family members and friends.
