Funeral Services for Johnny will be 1 PM Wednesday at the Vondel Smith South Colonial Chapel, with internment at Fairlawn Cemetery, Chickasha, OK, at 3:45 PM.

Johnny Brown was born in Chickasha, OK on May 8, 1933. He was the 5th born of nine children. His father and Mother: Judge & Annie Brown were well known in Grady County. Johnny was educated in the Chickasha school system and the Catholic Academy. At the age of 15 he moved to Oklahoma City where he learned the carpet trade. In 1953 he was drafted into the United States Army, serving as a Demolition Expert in Europe. After completing his service in the US Army, he came home a founded Johnny's Carpet Service, opening his own carpet store and keeping two carpet crews busy in the greater Oklahoma City area. In 1969, Johnny's working career took a dramatic change as he entered the world of sales and marketing. This new venture was life changing and took him across the country from the west coast to the east coast. His sales accomplishments were monumental and record setting culminating in the founding of American Professional Marketing Company in Oklahoma City in which he heavily invested his life until his retirement in the late 1980's. Johnny and Betty Brown moved to Shell Knob, MO, where they enjoyed retirement life for well over a decade. Johnny was preceded in death by his wife Betty of 67 years, son, Reggie Brown in 2020, and is survived by Randall Brown and is wife Linda and daughters Tina, Vicki & Randa; Rick Brown and his wife Elaine and daughters Regan, Ricki Lea and Rachel. Reggie's wife, Diane and daughters Erin & Erica; Tina and her sons Jonathan and Tyler; Robbie and his daughters, Christin, Annie, Kaylee, Nichole and Molly, 37 great grandchildren and Brother and Sister-in-law, Earl and Gladys Brown.
