Jonathon "John" Wahl Ishmael
March 27, 1949 – January 21, 2024
Jonathon "John" Wahl Ishmael was born March 27, 1949 in Oklahoma City the son of Dr. and Mrs. William K. Ishmael. He completed this life on Sunday, January 21, 2024 at the VA Medical Center in Oklahoma City.
John was raised in Oklahoma City. He served in the U.S. Navy.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Polly Dee Ishmael Sandlin; his brother, William Earl Ishmael.
He is survived by five nephews, Rob Sandlin, Tripp Ishmael, Scot Sandlin, Todd Ishmael and Thomas Ishmael; and numerous cousins.
Private family service with inurnment in the Fort Gibson National Cemetery.
