IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jorge Antonio
Pinon
October 12, 1939 – September 24, 2024
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved father, Jorge Antonio Pinon, 84, on September 24, 2024 in OKC, OK. Jorge was born in Mexico City on October 12, 1939. Jorge met the love of his life and wife of 51 years, Teresa Pinon and moved to America soon after. Jorge retired from General Motors after a dedicated 34-year career. He worked at SSM for the last 15 years up until mid-July. He valiantly fought stage 4 glioblastoma brain cancer for 58 days and continued to show his brave will through a quick and daily evolving fight.
Preceded in joining the Lord: Mother & Father, Aristeo & Maria Pinon and his 3 brothers.
He is survived by his wife Teresa Pinon and their children, Giselle Leon (Joe, husband) and their children and Maurice Pinon and his son. He is also survived by his son Armando Ulises Pinon (Julieta, wife) and their children.
Jorge was a devoted father, grandfather, servant and loved life to the fullest every single day, always bringing a smile to everyone he met. He will be missed terribly by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Jorge beautifully exemplified to his family how a pure and gracious heart should live daily, and for that we are forever grateful.
Thank you to all the medical teams at SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital, OU Medical Center and GOLD House for the amazing care during his battle with cancer and end of life dwelling.
