Juanell Louise Leard, 96, passed from this life Monday, February 23, 2026. She was born July 14, 1929, in Duncan, Oklahoma, the daughter of Elmer Fred and Hazel (Truitt) Gentry. After completing high school, Juanell worked as a financial secretary for Capitol Hill High School. She met and married Eugene W. Leard and together they raised 2 sons. Juanell was a devoted member of South Walker Church of Christ. She was also active in the Wally Byum Caravan Club International and enjoyed crocheting and was an excellent cook. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Eugene W. Leard; daughter, Kathlene Diane Leard; and brother, Donald Ray Gentry. Juanell leaves cherished memories with her sons Gary W. Leard and spouse Lee and Raymond E. Leard and spouse Gail.
