June, affectionately known as "Junie" to her nine grandchildren, passed away with her husband at her side Sunday, August 26, 2018, following a courageous battle with breast cancer. June was born April 14, 1954 in OKC to Herman Lester & Norma Eileen Husk, nee Shreffler. A 1972 graduate of U. S. Grant, June married the love of her life Johnny Ray Waganer on June 8, 1973. She pursued her lifelong calling in nursing graduating with a Bachel
or's Degree from Central State University (UCO) in 1976. She was an R.N. & retired from the Moore Health Department as Nursing Supervisor in 2012. June thoroughly enjoyed genealogy & tracing her family's roots. A loving & doting grandmother she used her sewing skills to make blankets, clothing & many special items for her grandchildren. She also ministered to many families locally by donating her handiwork to Children's Hospital & Parent Promise. She was preceded in death by her parents; son Justin & sister Judy Husk.She is survived by her husband Johnny Ray Waganer; son Jason Waganer & wife Kimmye, daughter Kelli Marshall & husband Juston, daughter in law Sara Waganer & daughter Kourtney Waganer. Brother George "Bud" Husk & wife Vicki, 2 Sisters Jeanne Morris & husband Lanis & Janice Kirkpatrick.9 grandchildren Sammy, Jack, Emerson, Brooke, Hayes, Jenner, Libbye, Aailiyah & Kellyn; as well as numerous extended family and friends.
