IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Kalyanji D
Naik
February 4, 1936 – July 27, 2025
Kalyanji Dayalji Naik
Born on February 4, 1936, in Ranat, India
Passed away on July 27, 2025, in Oklahoma City, OK
Age: 89
Kalyanji Dayalji Naik, lovingly known as Mangubhai, lived a life rooted in humility, devotion,
and quiet strength. He earned his Bachelor of Business in Accounting from M.S. University in
Baroda. After graduation, he moved to Bombay, where he built a long and distinguished career at
Larsen & Toubro, retiring after more than four decades of service.
In 2005, Mangubhai and his beloved wife, Sadhanaben, began regularly traveling to the United
States to spend time with their children and grandchildren, creating lasting memories on both
sides of the world. Whether it was helping with school drop-offs, attending graduations, or
simply sitting at the table during dinner, his presence became a quiet, comforting constant in the
lives of those he loved most.
He carried himself with a rare steadiness, never needing attention or praise, only content to be
there for others. His kindness was simple but profound. He showed up when it mattered, not with
fanfare, but with patience, reliability, and unwavering love.
We are so grateful for all the birthdays, milestones, and everyday moments we were able to share
together, from ordinary afternoons to unforgettable family gatherings. He made all of it more
meaningful just by being there.
Though he is no longer physically with us, the life Mangubhai led continues to echo in the
choices we make, the way we treat others, and the love we carry forward. We feel him in our
quiet moments, in our choices, and in the strength we try to carry forward.
His was a life well lived, and even more, a life well loved. And that love will never leave us.
Rest peacefully, Kalyanji.
You will be missed more than words can ever express.
