IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Keith
Brink
November 30, 1946 – December 31, 2023
Keith Brink
November 30, 1946 ~ December 31, 2023
Nelson Keith Brink was born on November 30, 1946, to Doris (Burns) and Nelson Jackson Brink in Joplin, Missouri. He left this life on December 31, 2023, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Keith graduated from Star Spencer High School in 1965 and then attended Oklahoma State University. He joined the army in 1967, and served tours of duty in both Germany and Vietnam, and was very proud of his time in service to his country. After returning to Oklahoma he attended UCO, and began a career as a salesman. He later helped found Dura Kold Corporation. He and his wife Becky then formed Pro Kold Corporation and KB Innovations.
On March 4, 1988, he married Becky (Murray) Mason and they enjoyed many wonderful years together. He was preceded in death by his parents Nelson and Doris Brink, a daughter Jennifer Brink, a sister Karen Green, and his in-laws Arless and Madge Murray. He is survived by his wife, Becky, two sons, Darren Brink and Brad Mason and his wife Amanda, and a daughter Beth Null and her husband Ray. He is also survived by grandchildren Austin, Dalton, Kaidence, Aidan, Addie, Avery, and Ashlyn. In addition he leaves behind one great-grandson, Maverick, a sister Sheri Rigdon and husband Alan, brother-in-law Arless Murray, Jr. and his wife, Sue, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Keith was, in the very best sense of the term, one of a kind. He never met a stranger, and everyone who knew him had a "Keith story" to tell. There was nothing Keith wouldn't do to help another human being. The number of people who have benefitted from Keith's anonymous generosity is untold because his enjoyment was in the giving.
Above all other activities, Keith loved to fish, and he loved to teach others to fish, especially young people. In recent years he had become interested in Camp Cavett, which takes place at Lake Texoma each summer, and had donated his time and effort to that program. Cavett Kids Foundation is dedicated to providing outdoor activities for children ages 8-18 who have been diagnosed with chronic or life threatening illnesses. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Cavett Kids Foundation at www.cavettkids.org/donate.
