Kenneth Alton Herring was born August 3, 1931 at Parkland, Oklahoma to Fred Gilson and Clauice Ina (Blackewlder) Herring. He died Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at his home in Moore, Oklahoma. Kenneth served as an Elder and Minister and worked tirelessly in the Church of the First Born by performing Weddings, Funerals and baptizing many into the Faith. Before he became a Minister, Kenneth traveled the country as an Evangelist. His Evangelist trips were many times funded by grocery money that June faithfully had saved back. He was a United States Army Korean Veteran and was a licensed Plumbing Contractor. He owned and operated Herring Repair Service for many years.
