Kenny Skaggs, Jr., a lifelong resident of Oklahoma City, passed away Wednesday, August 19, 2009 at the age of 57. He was born April 2, 1952 to in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to his parents, Kenneth D. and Marilyn J. (Hicks) Skaggs. In 1970, Kenny graduated from U.S. Grant High School where he lettered in wrestling and golf and at the age of 16 shot a hole in one at Hillcrest Golf and Country Club. Since the age of 16, Kenny worked at the family owned Kenny Skaggs Tag Agency and Vacuum Sales shop, where Kenny was also honored as the National Sales Champion for Kirby Vacuums. In addition to working alongside his father and wife, he also owned and operated Capitol Hill Tag Agency from 1977-2005. On July 12, 1972, he married Brenda Kennedy and together shared more than 37 years of marriage.

Sisters: Rhonda Snavely and husband Chris and Mitzi Jay and husband Melvin;
Brother, Chris Smith and wife Kathy;
5 Grandchildren: Kennedy, Nathan, Emily, Easton and Keira Skaggs;
Nieces, nephews and cousins;
And a host of other loving relatives and friends.
