Obituary

LaRonda Floy Hamm May 6, 1961 ~ January 5, 2021 LaRonda Floy Hamm gained her crown on Tuesday, Jan 5th 2021, after a 2 year long battle with breast cancer. LaRonda was born in DeWitt, Arkansas on May 6th, 1961 to Glendel and Sarah Ann Fisher. She was baptized into the General Assembly and Church of the Firstborn on August 4th, 1974. She was married to the love of her life, her world, Wesley Leland Hamm on April 17, 1982. Together, they were blessed with six beautiful children: Tyler, Bradley, Bethany, Jessica, Autumn and Nicole. LaRonda was a loving wife, mother and Nana. She was one of the strongest people you'd ever meet. Through all of her life's grievous trials, she chose to cling to God, honor and glorify Him. She enjoyed spending time with family and her grandsons, cooking for friends, drinking coffee, and shopping with her girls. She spent many days traveling, going for walks, and working for her and Wesley's company, Hamm Tank & Trucking. She was a hard worker, a fighter, a jewel, and a true soldier for God. LaRonda was preceded in death by her: Husband, Wesley Hamm; Children: Tyler, Bradley, and Jessica Hamm; Father, Glendel Fisher; Sister, Denise Payton; Brother, Dorland Fisher. LaRonda is survived by her: Daughter, Bethany Ellenberg and husband Craig; Daughter, Autumn Cunningham and husband Connor; Daughter, Nicole Barnes and husband DJ; Grandsons: Evan, Collin, Aden, Noah, and Jack Ellenberg, Grant and Benjamin Barnes; Siblings: Joy, Diane, Maleta (DeWayne) and Vance (Teresa); As well as many other friends and family members. LaRonda will be so greatly missed by all those who loved and adored her. "For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time, are not worthy to be compared to the glory which shall be revealed in us." ~ Romans 8:18 Proverbs 31:25-31 ~ The Virtuous Woman "Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come. She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness. She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness. Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her. Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all. Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the Lord, she shall be praised. Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates."
