Larry Hubert Dorsey, 83, passed away Sunday morning, May 4, 2014, with his loving wife of over sixty-two years, Billie , at his side. He was born September 25, 1930 in Konawa, Oklahoma to Laurie and Ruth (Glover) Dorsey. After moving to Oklahoma City, Larry graduated from Capitol Hill High School in 1948. He then attended the University of Oklahoma, becoming a true Sooner, and later studied at Oklahoma City University. It was during this time that Larry met and later married Billie Ruth Taylor on Aug. 29, 1951. Larry entered the United States Army and served in Germany during the Korean War. After returning home, he worked for Westinghouse Corporation where he was a loyal employee for over 30 years. Larry was a faithful member of the Capitol Hill and later Trinity Churches of the Nazarene. He served in various capacities as the Lord provided opportunities. Larry will always be remembered as a loving and generous man to a host of wonderful friends.
