Larry Keeling went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at the age of 78. He was born March 15, 1945 in Anderson, MO, to Louis Earl Keeling & Dixie (Dixon) Keeling. Larry spent much of his childhood in Anderson, where he developed many friendships until his graduation in 1963 from Anderson High School. After high school, he went to California and worked for the United States Postal Service in San Jose, CA. a year later, Larry transferred to Oklahoma City and joined the United States Air Force, where Larry was a proud American Veteran who pledged devotion to his country. As he completed his duties, he recieved an honorable discharge in the spring of 1972. This was the beginning of quite a life! Larry was a vital employee of the USPS, and was one of the creators of the USPS Video Training system, where he earned a national position with USPS Video Training Dept. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Del City, where he was a featured vocalist on their Nationally broadcasted services. Larry served as the "Emcee" for the Miss Del City pageant for many years, and over a dozen other pageants throughout the metro area of Oklahoma City. He was a well known performer locally, and also traveled nationally with his vocal group "The Witnesses". Larry was noted as one of Bailey Smiths' favorite male vocalist. He performed for all kinds of events, and productions including, showcasing his skills as a Christian comedian, seeking a wholesome laugh, and bringing joy to others through his God given talents. Larry also performed in many plays in Oklahoma City, and later at Prince William Little Theater in Manassas, Virginia after he relocated to that area. He truly enjoyed acting, and was nominated for Best Actor for his portrayal of "Slim" in the play "Of Mice and Men". Larry especially enjoyed his relationships with his theater family in Virginia. He had a special bond with many people there, and would still be performing today, if not for his health complications. Larry was loved by all who made his acquaintance, and he will be missed by many.

Brother-In-Law: Earl F. Mahoney
Sister-In- Law: Patricia Keeling
Great Nephew: Kouri Mahoney
He leaves many lasting memories with his:
Sister: Shirley Mahoney
Brother: Louis "Lou Keeling"
As well as many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.
