Larry Wayne Shrum went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 31, 2015 at the age of 67. The son of Alfred and Clara (Kirkes) Shrum, Larry was born December 13, 1947 in Ralls, Texas. After graduating from U.S. Grant High School, Larry honorably served his country in the United States Army. On September 2, 1966, Larry married his high school sweetheart and the love of his life, Gladene Grace Butler and together shared more than 43 years of marriage and raising a family before her passing on October 18, 2009. This union of marriage was blessed with three daughters, Paula, Brenda and Tara. Larry provided a warm and loving home for his family by owning and operating Pro Line Sports, a Sporting Goods business, for 13 years. Larry's specialty was making team uniforms. After closing his business, OBU in Shawnee contacted Larry to continue making their team uniforms. In his spare time, Larry enjoyed relaxing and watching TV, especially "Wheel of Fortune." But most of all, Larry enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He will be deeply missed. Larry was preceded in death by his: Parents; Wife, Gladene Grace (Butler) Shrum; Daughter, Tara Van Hook; Daughter, Brenda Fuller; Brother, Junior Shrum. Larry is survived by his loving: Daughter, Paula Shrum; Grandchildren: Tyler, Austin, and Lance Van Hook, Brandon and Madison Fuller and Bo and Candace Echelle. Many other loving family and friends.
