Larry Gene Stanley went to his Heavenly home on Sunday, May 1, 2022 at the age of 71. He was born September 21, 1950 in Oklahoma City to his parents, Gene and Bonnie (Harrell) Stanley. Larry was raised in South OKC along with his brothers Terry and Jerry. As a young boy, Larry was active in sports. Larry went to work for a family restaurant and southwest electric. He also joined the U.S. Air Force. Larry owned and operated Marathon Electric Company for 40 years, and was still active in the day to day operations until his passing. Larry loved his family and made his best memories while spending time with them. He also enjoyed playing softball for many years. His grandchildren were his world. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
