Larry "Bud" Wood was born July 21, 1933 in Amber, Oklahoma, the son of Lando and Dwade (Keef) Wood. He passed from this life on December 22, 2021, surrounded by his loving family.

Bud was raised in Union City where he graduated from high school in 1951. Bud was lovingly known as the life of the party, never meeting a stranger and was famous for knowing someone everywhere he went. He was a fantastic Dad, Grandpa and Great Grandpa and will be missed dearly by all. Darlene, his wife of 48 years, preceded him in death on April 10, 2004.
