IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Lawana Mageline
Spurlock
October 22, 1928 – October 9, 2025
Lawana Mageline Spurlock passed away in Lawton, Oklahoma on October 9, 2025, at the age 96.
Lawana was born in Ada, OK on October 22, 1928, to Darce and Pearl Cannaday. She married Lawrence "Junior" Canary on Jan 1, 1947, in Salina, KS. They were blessed with one daughter, Glenda Joy, and two sons, Steve and Joe. She loved her family dearly and was a loving wife and mother.
After the death of Lawrence in 1970, Lawana moved to Oklahoma City and worked at Baptist Medical Center for 22 years and made countless friends and great memories during her time at the hospital.
In her spare time, Lawana perhaps most enjoyed shopping for and collecting antiques. Particularly she accumulated a number of antique dolls and dishes over the years, many of which were very near and dear to her.
