Obituary

Leo Willis Clay, 89, went to be with his Heavenly father on Monday, April 14, 2025. The Son of Eresho "Ranch" Charles Clay and Artemus "Artie" Dora Clay (Haynes), Leo was born October 9, 1935 in Byars, Oklahoma. Leo grew up attending schools in the Oklahoma City area and attended Capitol Hill High School in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Leo joined the United States Army on December 13, 1961. Just a few days before joining the Army on December 9, 1961, Leo married his sweetheart, Edna Valdean Brown and together shared more than 64 years of marriage. In addition to being a loving husband, Leo also worked as an Aviation Security Officer for the United States Marshal's Service for many years before his retirement in 2019. Leo was very passionate about fishing, his job, and working on cars, as well as collecting guns, but nothing was as important as being with his family whom he loved with all of his heart. Leo was known for his joking and always having fun. He will be fondly remembered as a kind, loving, and generous man.
