Leoma Baxter, 99, was born on December 13, 1926, at Stratford, Oklahoma. Leoma passed away peacefully at home June 2, 2026. September 8th was the happiest and saddest day of her life. Happiest because her first child, Jerry, was born. Saddest because she lost her husband Bill after 59 years of marriage. Together they had two children, Jerry and Linda, plus many adventures. Leoma leaves lasting memories with daughter Linda and husband Phil Miatech; daughter-in0law, Joan Baxter; grandchildren, Taylor Baxter, Jeff Lyles, Greg Lyles, Philip Miatech, Jennifer and husband Glenn Banner, Dustin Baxter, Jay and wife Lori Buck, and Jamie Buck; great grandchildren, Sam Buck and Olivia Buck; and one brother, Melvin Mathis. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bill; son, Jerry, and 2 sisters and 2 brothers. Leoma will always be remembered as a strong and faithful woman. She will be greatly missed.
