Leoma Baxter, 99, was born on December 13, 1926, at Stratford, Oklahoma. Leoma passed away peacefully at home June 2, 2026. Leoma married William “Bill” Baxter August 23rd, 1943, together they had 59 happy years of marriage and had two children, Jerry and Linda. Leoma is survived by her daughter Linda and husband Phil Miatech, daughter-in-law Joan Baxter; grandchildren Jeff Lyles, Greg Lyles, Philip Miatech, Jennifer and husband Glenn Banner, Dustin Baxter, Jay and wife Lorri Buck, and Jamie Buck; great grandchildren Taylor Baxter, Sam Buck and Olivia Buck; and one brother, Melvin Mathis. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Bill, son Jerry, and 2 sisters and 2 brothers. Leoma will always be remembered as a strong and faithful woman. She will be greatly missed.
