Leonard Allan Cook, lovingly known as "Pappy" went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 19, 2012 at the age of 88. He was born September 30, 1923 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to his parents, Paul and Elsie (Massingham) Cook. After graduating from Central High School in 1943, Leonard joined the US Coast Guard and honorably served his country during World War II. Leonard married the love of his life, Norma L. Anderson and together shared more than 64 years of marriage and watching their family grow. Leonard provided a warm and loving home for his family by working as a crash fireman for Tinker Air Force Base for 20 years. Leonard enjoyed fishing, golfing, racket ball, traveling, cooking and life. He was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church. He was a loving husband, devoted father & doting grandfather who will be deeply missed.

He was preceded in death by his:
Parents;
Brother and a sister.

He leaves behind his loving:
Wife of 64 years, Norma L. Cook of the home;
Son, Stephen Cook & wife, Denise;
Son, Paul Cook & wife, Pat;
Son, Phil Cook;
Daughter, Diane Liles;
11 grandchildren;
16 great grandchildren;
and a host of nieces, nephews & other loving family & friends.
